Conditions & illnesses

Welcome to the MCH Children's Health Info page. Our aim is to give parents basic health information about common childhood ailments, conditions and illnesses. These articles are for your information and are not intended to replace professional medical advice. If your child is sick please take him to see your pediatrician or family doctor.

For even more health information we invite you to visit The Montreal Children's Hospital Family Resource Library where you'll find over 1,700 different resources on children's medical conditions including books, videos and pamphlets. The library is located in room C-542 of the hospital where the professional librarian on staff can help you find information and answer your questions. You can also visit the library's web site to access the collection and borrow or reserve books on line.

Choose from the list of health topics (below) or type in the name of the condition or illness you are looking for in the search box and click "go".
